I try to never miss a concert, and certainly look forward to this difficult work, being performed by "almost professional" singers, who always sound wonderfully "professional"! I live on Lake Peteresburg, in Il, near Springfield, so must make the effort to get to Chicago for concerts. Always worth the trip! THANKS! Marilyn Oaks, retired public school music teacher. Kudos to Bruce Tammen and to Chicago Chorale for implementing a program that allows young singers to sing with an accomplished choir, be introduced to major choral works, and expand their knowledge of music and various teaching methodologies.
